Pro Loco Castiglion Fiorentino

Situated on top of a hill (365 meters above sea level), Castiglion Fiorentino has the typical aspect of the walled medieval town. The prominent Cassero Tower, which dominates the ancient city, indicates from afar the town, which envelops the hill with its concentric rings.

The countryside with its cypresses and fields in good order offers an excellent wine and an oil that has few parallels. The territory is crossed by numerous easily accessible paths, which show remarkable environmental qualities of extraordinary beauty.

In 2007 our town was awarded with the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club. Since 2017, it is one of the 100 Italian destination and in 2018 it received the title of European Capital for the promotion of Fair Play in sport.

Castiglion Fiorentino, thanks to its geographical position, is the ideal place to reach the main cities of central Italy.
